THE EDIT: loose pigments



To me, a pigment is one of the most pleasing of products. They're just so, well, pigmented. If you're in the market for an eye colour that packs a punch, then these really are the way to go - use them wet for a foil effect, or dry to add that extra something to any eye look. ON-TRIAL: cruelty-free sun protection



SPF is quite the buzzword at the moment, with some hot debates going on about the quality of protection certain brands are offering, and constant updates to textures and formulations. Throw in the cruelty-free thing and your options are fairly limited - so what have I been using?

FOUND - a cruelty-free beauty salon!


Anyone who's taken the decision to go cruelty-free will know how hard it is to find a salon that offers treatments that cater to those preferences - most of the time, it's nigh on impossible. So when I heard about Organica Natural Beauty, I was really excited.

Reviewed: Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealers


Barry M has been one of my favourite makeup brands for years - certain products in their line are staples that I always come back to. They've launched loads of great new products in recent years though, a lot of which I haven't had a chance to try. So when I found myself in Boots a few weeks back I thought it would be (frankly) rude not to pick up their latest offering.

Disappointing product alert! bareMinerals Lash Domination mascara


I hate to moan, but every so often a product comes along that makes the wrong kind of impression on me and I feel it (rather dramatically) necessary to immediately warn those around me.
