Cruelty-free bargains - December 2015

Christmas is over, the New Year's approaching - what better way to celebrate than spending the little money you have left on beauty products?! In the spirit of saving (one of my New Year's resolutions), I've tried to keep this to things that are actually a really good bargain, or essentials that you wouldn't normally see reduced. Writing these kinds of posts always leaves me feeling pretty spendy - I wonder if I'll survive without purchasing something...

First up is the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturiser, which Feel Unique are offering at 20% off, taking it from £26 down to £20.80. A blogger favourite, this is an ultra-moisturising base with super-natural coverage that evens out the skintone beautifully - a must-have if you like fairly light coverage. Beauty Bay are also stocking a few shades from £12.64 upwards!

Next is something that's been on my wishlist for years - I'm so tempted. The Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer is a super high-coverage concealer that can double up as a foundation and tinted moisturiser when mixed with other products. It's frighteningly expensive at £36 for a small pot, but some shades are reduced to £28.80 on Beauty Bay.

Another cult product next! All hail Pixi Glow Tonic, the acid toner that gently exfoliates the skin leaving it bright and healthy. I love this stuff but ran out of it months ago. It's on Beauty Bay for £14.40 down from £18 at the moment - time to replenish?!

I haven't tried anything from Pai but have heard so many positive things - the brand has a great ethos that I'd love to support. This little try-me set is reduced from £20 down to £16 and contains travel-sizes of the Camellia and Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser, Lotus and Orange Blossom Skin Tonic and the Chamomile and Rosehip Day Cream, as well as a muslin facecloth and little travel pouch. Sounds divine for dry skins.

When theBalm launched theManizer Sisters Luminizing Palette I may have let out a little squeal... my beloved champagne glow Mary-Lou joined by the equally beautiful Cindy-Lou and Betty-Lou! If you like your highlight intense you need to check this out - reduced from £24 to £21.60 on at the moment.

Another Feel Unique bargain comes via Paul Mitchell, my favourite cruelty-free hair brand of the moment. Everything I've tried from them is amazing - the whole range has some great reductions but I particularly recommend their shampoos and conditioners, which I've found to be so effective on my sensitive scalp. For dry hair, the Instant Moisture line is perfect - in this set you get both a shampoo and conditioner for £15, but do check out the offers on their other products too.

FINALLY comes the one product that I've actually given in to and bought, along with a few other irresistible bits and bobs (ahem). Every year the Illamasqua sale gets me! The Complement Palette is my top pick because it's reduced by 50% from £34 to £17, and is a real treat. I think the warm colours are just beautiful and remind me ever so slightly of the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette in terms of tone. Their website is full to the brim with bargains at the moment, so take a look!

Happy shopping...
