REVIEW: theBalm Balms Away Eye Makeup Break-Up

I'm one of those people who hates makeup that's difficult to remove. I much prefer a mascara that washes off with just water, even if they do tend to be less long-wearing. However, the introduction of theBalm's Balms Away Eye Makeup Break-Up (now that's a tongue-twister) has expanded my horizons due to its makeup melting qualities.

A TK Maxx bargain - NARS Indian Summer

I'm a sucker for the TK Maxx beauty shelves. I find their fashion rails far too much of a challenge, but there's always something wonderful to be found in the makeup section (and the homeware aisles, might I add). Lately I've noticed they're stocking everything from bareMinerals and Hourglass through to Perricone MD and Real Techniques at great prices - so keep your eye out if you find yourself amongst those blessed (albeit jumbled) displays.

VIDEO - Makeup Revolution lip swatches + review

Okay, so this video's from way back before Christmas... but you can still buy all of these Makeup Revolution lip products separately! I always think it's really handy to see the different shades on the lips, plus I talk through the three different liquid lipstick formulas you can get from the brand.

They are mega cheap at £3.00 each so definitely worth a look, and cruelty free of course.

A foray into First Aid Beauty

First Aid Beauty is a cruelty-free brand that I've been curious about for a while - it seems to have dropped off the radar a little, but there was a time when it felt like everyone and their cat were using their Facial Radiance Pads. As always I'm very late to the party, but when I spotted a bargain little kit on Beauty Bay I couldn't resist.
